About 42talents

42talents is an engineering consultancy in Zürich, founded in 2014. CTOs and engineering managers work directly with the practitioners responsible for the recommendation, the code, and the handover. We focus on improvements your team can sustain after we leave.

Our Values

We care about people, code, and outcomes. Our values shape how we work with you and the community: openly, directly, and hands-on.

  • Productive Partnerships

We work closely with you, keep feedback cycles short, and focus on what matters. Great outcomes come from real collaboration.

  • Software Craft

We build maintainable software and help teams sharpen their skills. Clear design, useful tools, and continuous learning guide the work.

  • Communication

We keep things clear and direct. Good communication means fewer surprises and better outcomes for everyone.

  • End-to-end engineering

We look beyond a single layer while staying deliberately focused on Java, Spring, and the JVM. From architecture to production operations, we take responsibility for the whole engineering outcome.

Our Commitment

We help run the Swiss engineering community, not just participate in it: the JUG Switzerland board, co-organising Voxxed Days Zürich, organising SoCraTes Switzerland, and co-hosting Software Crafters Zurich. Here are the groups and events we are proud to be part of.

Work with us

Whether you need an architecture review, an AI agent shipped, or your team levelled up – book 30 minutes and we will assess whether we are the right people for it.
