On Friday, the 13th of September, the annual Software-Crafters-Meeting, SoCraTes Day Switzerland, took place in Zurich.
Were you wondering why your developer friend didn't text you back last Friday? Here's your answer: The annual SoCraTes Day, a single-day version with the Software Craft and Testers Community, took place at the Ergon AG in Zurich. The day was packed with discussions, presentations, and workshops. These were many opportunities to connect with fellow software crafters — a perfect way to learn from and with each other. Our Patrick attended the conference and shared some of his highlights: "The agenda-setting a.k.a the marketplace was very versatile, and I saw many new faces as well as some people I have been meeting for years." The conference started at 9 AM and ended at 5 PM. After that, attendants could grab something to eat and drink. As Patrick says: "The event is always one of my highlights in autumn! My session with Thomas on Chaos Engineering was well received, and we had good discussions on how it could be implemented in Start-ups as well as in big enterprises."
