Last month, our Patrick Baumgartner went to the Software Crafters Meetup in Manila as a special guest. He introduced different topics and provided support during exercises. The event was the first of it's kind this year. It's a monthly event, where Software Crafters from around the country gather to learn from and with each other while solving a series of problems. Patrick shared his knowledge on Architectural Katas which is helpful when architecting software systems. A skill that software crafters rarely practice during their day-to-day work. In a second session, Patrick presented the C4 model. It helps to communicate software architecture at different levels of detail more efficiently and effectively.
More than twenty software crafters came together in the Philippines to share their passion and learn skills they can apply at work. Hopefully, the number of participants will keep increasing!
